Whitney Gordon IT Director
Whitney attended Lehigh University's School of Engineering, and later earned her B.A. in Sociology and Information Analysis from Roanoke College. She continued her education at New York University, concentrating in Search Engine Optimization and Interactive Marketing. Whitney moved to Massachusetts in the Fall of 2009 to pursue her Master's Degree in Human Factors of Information Design at Bentley University.
After completing her undergraduate degree, Whitney moved to New York and worked for MediaVest Worldwide before moving into eCommerce where she handled online merchandising and data analysis in the contemporary fashion division at Bloomingdale's. Whitney continued he work in Interactive Marketing and data analysis working for the iconic american luxury jewelry designer David yurman.
Following her relocation to Massachusetts, Whitney consulted at Bentley Unviersity's Design & Usability Center while attending graduate classes. She now works for Sentient Jet, a private jet company in Weymouth, MA as a Prospect Database Specialist.
Whitney came to Afghanistan World Foundation through her website development and usability design experience, and quickly found that this organization fulfills her passion for philanthropy and volunteerism.
While growing up in Westfield, New Jersey, Whitney spent a great deal of time volunteering for the Children's Specialized Hospital and the Children's Miracle Network, and went on to head up several philanthropic organizations throughout high school and college, namely the Delta Gamma Foundation, the Social Causes Awareness Initiative, and Relay For Life. She currently volunteers for Adopt-a-Platoon, supporting deployed military troops, and Dress for Success, Boston chapter.
